Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 12, 2011 Ronald Jankov, NetLogic Microsystems’ President and Chief Executive Officer sent an email to employees of the company regarding the planned integration of Broadcom’s pending acquisition of NetLogic Microsystems, Inc. The full text of the email is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is hereby incorporated by reference herein.
