Acceleration of Annual Meeting Date and Due Date for Shareholder Proposals

In its proxy statement for its 2011 annual meeting of shareholders, held on May 3, 2011, Exelon Corporation (Exelon) disclosed that shareholder proposals for the 2012 annual meeting of shareholders would be due by November 25, 2011.

Exelon intends to advance the date of its annual meeting by more than thirty days, to April 2, 2012, in order to accommodate scheduling conflicts. Accordingly, Exelon must receive shareholder proposals on or before November 4, 2011. Shareholder proposals should be sent to the Corporate Secretary, Exelon Corporation, 10 South Dearborn Street, P.O. Box 805398, Chicago, Illinois 60680-5398.
