On October 3, 2011, American Water Works Company, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that John Bigelow has been appointed the Company’s Senior Vice President of Business Services, a newly-created executive position, effective November 1, 2011. In his new position, Mr. Bigelow will oversee our organization-wide efforts to deploy key best practices and adopt continuous process improvement tools, including shared performance metrics. Mr. Bigelow currently is President of New Jersey American Water.
