On October 3, 2011, Silvan Industries, Inc., a Nevada corporation (the “Company”), filed a Certificate of Amendment to the Articles of Incorporation of the Company with the Nevada Secretary of State to change the name of the Company from “China Forestry Industry Group, Inc.” to “Silvan Industries, Inc.” A copy of the Certificate of Amendment is attached hereto as Exhibit 3.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
The new CUSIP number for the Company’s common stock is 827290 107. The Company has applied for a new symbol for quotation of the Company’s common stock on the OTCQB Market, however one has not yet been assigned.
