Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 5, 2011, JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that it sent a letter to Oaktree Capital Management, L.P. ("Oaktree"), in response to a letter received by the Company from Oaktree on September 13, 2011.
The Company hereby incorporates by reference the press release dated October 5, 2011, attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1, and made a part of this Item 8.01.
