Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 5, 2011, Corning Incorporated issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has declared an increased quarterly dividend on the Company’s common stock and approved a $1.5 billion share repurchase program. That press release is attached as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated herein by reference.
