Item 5.05 Amendments to the Registrant’s Code of Ethics, or Waiver of a Provision of the Code of Ethics
On September 23, 2011, the Board of Directors of HickoryTech Corporation (the “Company”), approved amendments to the Company’s Code of Ethics, which applies to all directors, officers and other identified covered employees of the Company. The Code of Ethics was amended to, among other things, clarify and enhance the conflicts of interest provisions. The amended Code of Ethics is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K and which is incorporated by reference into this Item 5.05. The Code of Conduct is available in the Investor section of the Company website at www.hickorytech.com.
