Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On September 12, 2011, InterMune, Inc. issued a press release announcing that Esbriet® (pirfenidone) will be offered to patients in Germany beginning September 15, 2011. InterMune also announced that it will be hosting a conference call and webcast at 8:30 a.m. (Eastern Time) to provide details on the launch of Esbriet, including information on the pricing of Esbriet in Germany, and an update on other aspects of its business.
