This presentation includes the following financial measures defined as non-GAAP financial measures by the SEC: EBITDARM, EBITDAR, EBITDA, Adjusted EBITDA, funds from operations (“FFO”), adjusted FFO (“AFFO”) and normalized AFFO. EBITDARM is defined as net income before interest expense, income tax expense and depreciation, amortization, rent and management fees. EBITDAR is defined as net income before interest expense, income tax expense and depreciation, amortization and rent. EBITDA is defined as net income before interest expense, income tax expense and depreciation and amortization. Adjusted EBITDA is defined as EBITDA adjusted to exclude stock-based compensation expense and acquisition pursuit costs. FFO is calculated in accordance with The National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts’ (“NAREIT”) definition of “funds from operations,” and is defined as net income, computed in accordance with GAAP, excluding gains or losses from real estate dispositions, plus real estate depreciation and amortization.
