On August 27, 2011, Enstar Group Limited (the “Company”) received notice from Paul Collins
that he would be retiring from the board of directors of the Company effective September 30, 2011.
Mr. Collins has indicated that his retirement from the Company is not due to a disagreement of any
kind, including any disagreement relating to the Company’s operations, policies or practices.
