On August 16, 2011, Damon Dutz informed the Company of his intention to retire from his position as President of the Consumer and Network Solutions division and all officer roles in Hickory Tech Corporation on or about September 2, 2011, due to health reasons. He has agreed to continue to be available to assure an orderly transition of his responsibilities.
