Universal Business Payment Solutions Acquisition Corporation (the “Company”) has been informed by EarlyBirdCapital, Inc., the representative of the underwriters in the Company’s initial public offering, that holders of the Company’s units will be able to separately trade the shares of common stock and warrants included in such units commencing on or about August 8, 2011. The common stock and warrants will be quoted on NASDAQ under the symbols UBPS and UBPSW, respectively. Units not separated will continue to be quoted on NASDAQ under the symbol UBPSU. A copy of the Company’s press release, dated August 5, 2011, announcing the foregoing is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
