Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 2, 2011, Intersections Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors had approved a 33 percent increase in the company's regular quarterly dividend for the third quarter 2011 and declared a cash dividend of $.20 per share. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by this reference.
