Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 29, 2011, the Union First Market Bankshares Corporation issued a press release announcing the declaration of a quarterly dividend payable on August 31, 2011 to shareholders of record as of August 19, 2011. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated herein by reference.
