On July 28, 2011, Beneficial Mutual Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company for
Beneficial Bank, issued a press release announcing its financial results for the three and six
months ended June 30, 2011. For more information, reference is made to the Company’s press release
dated July 28, 2011, a copy of which is attached to this Report as Exhibit 99.1 and is furnished
herewith.
