     On July 27, 2011, Validus Holdings, Ltd. (“Validus”) released information regarding its U.S. GAAP basis investment portfolio in a Schedule D — Part 1 format. A copy of this release is attached to this Current Report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
