(d) On July 19, 2011, State Investors Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") elected Sanford R. Maslansky to the Board of Directors to serve in the class of directors whose term expires in 2014. Mr. Maslansky was appointed to serve on the Audit Committee and as chair of the Compensation Committee. Mr. Maslansky has served as Chief Financial Officer of the Better Business Bureau in New Orleans, Louisiana since 1992.
