(b) State Investors Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") regretfully reports that Salvatore E. Panzeca, a director of the Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, State-Investors Bank (the "Bank"), passed away on July 6, 2011. Mr. Panzeca was a director of the Company since its formation in 2011 and the Bank since 2000. The Company acknowledges its great appreciation to Mr. Panzeca for his service.
