Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On July 11, 2011, Starbucks Corporation (the “Company”) announced that effective in September 2011, Cliff Borrows’ position will change from president, Starbucks Coffee U.S., to president, Americas and Starbucks U.S. (with responsibility for the United States, Canada, Mexico and Latin America), and John Culver’s position will change from president, Starbucks Coffee International, to president, Starbucks China and Asia Pacific (with responsibility for Asia Pacific, including China, Japan and India).
Item 7.01 Regulation FD.
On July 11, 2011, Starbucks Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing certain changes to its organizational structure. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
