Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 1, 2011, Citizens Republic Bancorp, Inc. filed with the State of Michigan a certificate of
amendment to its articles of incorporation. A copy of the certificate of amendment is attached
hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
