ITEM 7.01 REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE.
On July 1, 2011, The Bank of Kentucky Financial Corporation issued a press release announcing that its wholly-owned bank subsidiary, The Bank of Kentucky, Inc., executed a purchase and assumption agreement with the United Kentucky Bank of Pendleton County, Inc. on June 30, 2011. A copy of the Press Release is being furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated into this Report by reference.
The information being furnished under Item 7.01 of this Report shall not be considered “filed” for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
