Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 29, 2011, Threshold Pharmaceuticals, Inc. issued a press release announcing the initiation of a Phase 1/2 dose escalation clinical trial of TH-302 in combination with sunitinib in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma, gastrointestinal stromal tumor and pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
