Cavico Corp. Receives NASDAQ Notice
 
HANOI, Vietnam, June 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Cavico Corp. (Nasdaq: CAVO) ("Cavico" or the "Company"), a major infrastructure civil engineering design and construction conglomerate based in Vietnam, today announced that it received on the Company received a letter from The Nasdaq Stock Market indicating that the Company is not in compliance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) (the "Bid Price Rule") because the closing bid price per share of its common stock has been below $1.00 per share for 30 consecutive trading days. The Nasdaq letter was issued in accordance with standard Nasdaq procedures. In accordance with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5810(c)(3)(A), the Company will be provided with 180 calendar days, or until December 14, 2011, to regain compliance with the Bid Price Rule. To regain compliance with the Bid Price Rule, the closing bid price of the Company's common stock must remain at $1.00 per share or more for a minimum of 10 consecutive trading days.
 
As previously reported, the Company received a letter from NASDAQ notifying the Company stating that because the Company failed to file its Form 10-Q for the period ended March 31, 2011, on or before its due date, and because the Company remains delinquent in filing Form 10-K for the period ended December 31, 2010, on or before its due date, it is not in compliance with NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 5250(c)(1), which requires that a listed company timely file periodic financial reports with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a condition to continued listing of its securities.
