Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 13, 2011, the Board of Directors of Converted Organics Inc. ("Company") approved a 1-for-10 reverse split of the Company's issued and outstanding stock. On June 15, 2011, at a special meeting of the Board of Directors, the Board voted in favor of not proceeding with the reverse split.
