On June 15, 2011, Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (the “Corporation”) announced the appointment of Daniel E. Ellis as the Corporation’s Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective August 1, 2011. Mr. Ellis most recently served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at hotel franchise owner and operator Lodgian, Inc. and LSREF Peach Investments, LLC, a private equity firm (affiliate of Lone Star Funds) that acquired Lodgian in 2010.
