SONO RESOURCES COMPLETES DUE DILIGENCE ON COPPER AND SILVER EXPLORATION LICENCES IN BOTSWANA

Vancouver -June 9, 2011- PR Newswire -Sono Resources Inc. (OTCQB-SRCI); the "Company") announces that it has completed its due diligence regarding the purchase of three Copper and Silver mineral exploration licences in Northwest Botswana, Africa.

Sono has received a final title opinion and plans to close the proposed acquisition on or before June 15th, 2011.

In accordance with the terms of the Share Purchase Agreement, the Company is required to provide the vendor an initial cash payment of USD$200,000 within three business days of the execution of the Share Purchase Agreement (paid), a further cash payment of USD$100,000 on or before closing; and 6,500,000 restricted common shares of the Company at closing, and which closing must occur on or before June 15, 2011 unless otherwise mutually determined.

The area where the licenses are located has been widely characterized as an extension of the Kalahari Copper Belt, which is believed to extend from Zambia through Botswana. The belt is home to many producing copper mines and many more recent and successful exploration activities.
