On June 6, 2011, Waccamaw Bankshares, Inc., issued a press release announcing that it has submitted to the Listing Qualifications Department of the NASDAQ Stock Market its plan to regain compliance with the NASDAQ listing rules. A copy of the press release is attached as exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
