On May 20, 2011, Alon Refining Krotz Springs, Inc., a subsidiary of Alon USA Energy, Inc. (“Alon”), issued a press release to provide an update on the potential impact on operations at the Krotz Springs Refinery due to flooding in Louisiana. Attached and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K is a copy of the press release.
