On May 18, 2011, Alcoa Inc. (“Alcoa”) issued a press release announcing that Chris L. Ayers has been named President of Alcoa’s Global Primary Products (GPP) business, effective May 18, 2011. Ayers, previously Chief Operating Officer of GPP, succeeds John G. Thuestad, who will be handling special projects for Alcoa. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
On May 13, 2011, Alcoa issued a press release announcing the expiration and final results of its tender offers for its outstanding 5.375% Notes due 2013 and 6.00% Notes due 2013. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
