As previously announced, effective May 12, 2011, the Board of Directors of A123 Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed David Prystash to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, principal financial officer and principal accounting officer. Mr. Prystash succeeds John Granara in these positions.
