ITG RELEASES APRIL 2011 US TRADING VOLUMES
NEW YORK, May 9, 2011 — Investment Technology Group, Inc. (NYSE: ITG), a leading agency research broker and financial technology firm, today announced that April 2011 US trading volume was 3.6 billion shares and average daily volume (ADV) was 182 million shares. This compares to 4.1 billion shares and ADV of 178 million shares in March 2011 and 3.9 billion shares and ADV of 187 million shares in April 2010.
There were 20 trading days in April 2011, 21 trading days in April 2010, and 23 trading days in March 2011.
