On May 4, 2011, ESSA Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release reporting the purchase of a benefits consulting insurance business by its wholly owned subsidiary, ESSA Bank & Trust.
A copy of the press release announcing the purchase is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
