Item 8.01. Other Events
On April 28, 2011, Santa Fe Gold Corporation (the “Company”) issued a news release to update shareholders on the status of the Company’s precious metals concentrate and siliceous flux sales. The Company reported delivering products worth approximately US $4.0 million to date in 2011. The source of the production, the Company’s Summit mine and mill in southwest New Mexico, is currently producing 100 to 150 tons of ore per day and is projected to produce approximately 400 tons of ore per day later this year.
