On May 2, 2011, Montpelier Re Holdings Ltd. (the "Company") distributed a preliminary prospectus supplement dated May 2, 2011 (the "Preliminary Prospectus Supplement") relating to Non-Cumulative Preferred Shares, Series A.
The Company is hereby furnishing certain excerpts from the Preliminary Prospectus Supplement, which may contain material, non-public information, pursuant to Item 2.01 "Results of Operations and Financial Condition" and Item 7.01 "Regulation FD Disclosure," which information shall not be deemed "filed" for purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, or incorporated by reference in any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, except as shall be expressly set forth by specific reference in such a filing.
