On April 27, 2011, Belo Corp. announced its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2011. A copy of the announcement press release is furnished with this report as Exhibit 99.1.

Item 8.01. Other Events.

On April 27, 2011, the Company issued a press release announcing that it has lifted the dividend suspension that had been in place since the second quarter of 2009 and declared a cash dividend of $0.05 for each outstanding share of Series A common stock and Series B common stock to be paid on September 2, 2011 to shareholders of record on August 12, 2011. A copy of the press release is furnished with this report as Exhibit 99.2 hereto.
