Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
A press release was issued by Humana Inc. this morning reporting: (i) a realignment of Humana’s financial reporting segments; (ii) the establishment of a quarterly cash dividend policy and the declaration of a cash dividend to stockholders of $0.25 per share payable on July 28, 2011 to stockholders of record on June 30, 2011; (iii) a new share repurchase authorization of up to $1 billion by June 30, 2013; and (iv) certain financial results for the period ended March 31, 2011 and updated 2011 earnings guidance, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99 and is incorporated herein by reference.
