Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On April 19, 2011, State Street Corporation issued a news release announcing its results of operations and related financial information for the first quarter of 2011. A copy of that news release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1, and is incorporated herein by reference.
In addition, a copy of a slide presentation pertaining to State Street’s investment portfolio as of March 31, 2011, which will be referenced in connection with the investor conference call to be held by State Street on April 19, 2011, is furnished with this Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.2.
