On April 11, 2011, Benchmark Electronics, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it had lowered its guidance for the first quarter of 2011 due to softer than projected demand and temporary inventory corrections from some of its customers. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is hereby incorporated herein by reference.
