On April 11, 2011, Autoliv, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that, as a result of changes in sales by region and increased sales of active safety systems, the Company will begin to report sales by five regions instead of four and three product lines instead of two. This change in the reporting format will take effect in the Company’s next quarterly report for the quarter ended March 31, 2011, which will be published on April 20, 2011.
The full text of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
In addition, to assist securities analysts, investors, media and others who follow Autoliv, the Company also released its historical sales figures using its new reporting format and posted the information on its website: www.autoliv.com
The historical sales figures using the new reporting format is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
