On March 31, 2011, New Century Bancorp, Inc. (the “Registrant”) announced financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2010. A copy of the press release (the “Press Release”) announcing the Registrant’s results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2010, including a table of selected financial information, is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
