On March 31, 2011, Simon Rich notified Verenium Corporation (the “Company”) that he was resigning as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”), effective immediately. Mr. Rich’s resignation does not involve any disagreement with the Company, its management or the Board.
