Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On March 24, 2011, Stephen K. Krull notified Owens Corning ("the Company") of his resignation, effective immediately, as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of the Company to pursue another opportunity. Mr. Krull will remain with the Company until April 24, 2011, and in the interim Mr. Krull will work with the Company to ensure an orderly transition in responsibilities. Also on March 24, 2011, the Company announced that it has appointed John W. Christy as the interim General Counsel of the Company.
