On March 22, 2011, POZEN, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“POZEN”), issued a press release announcing that it had filed for a preliminary injunction in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas to prevent Par Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from launching a generic version of Treximet® (sumatripatan and naproxen sodium). A copy of POZEN’s press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
