On March 16, 2011, RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd. (the “Company”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing its initial estimated losses relating to the 2011 Australian flooding and the February 2011 New Zealand earthquake, as well as issuing comments on the Tohoku earthquake. A copy of the Press Release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
