Item 8.01. Other Events.
          Beginning March 15, 2011, America Service Group Inc. (the “Company”) distributed a letter to a current client related to the merger announced on March 3, 2011. A copy of the letter is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference.
