On March 8, 2011, Del Monte Foods Company (the “Company”) and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P., Vestar Capital Partners and Centerview Partners (collectively, the “Sponsors”) announced the completion of the acquisition of the Company by an investor group led by funds affiliated with the Sponsors. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
