Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 3, 2011, Shengkai Innovations, Inc., a Florida corporation (the "Company"), issued a press release (the "Press Release") announcing that the Company received a Manufacturing License of Special Equipment from the General Administration of Quality Supervision Inspection and Quarantines (AQSIQ) of the PRC. A copy of the Press Release that discusses this matter is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to, and incorporated by reference in, this report.
