Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On February 22, 2011, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (the "Bank") issued a news release to report its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2010, and to declare a cash dividend at an annualized rate of 3.00 percent. A copy of the news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report.
The Bank will host a member conference call on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 to discuss its 2010 financial results. An audio webcast of the conference call will be made available on the Bank's website at www.fhlbdm.com. The webcast will be archived on the Bank's website for 30 days.
