COUSINS’ DARY STONE JOINS BOARD OF DIRECTORS
ATLANTA — February 17, 2011 — Cousins Properties Incorporated (NYSE: CUZ) announced today that R. Dary Stone has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Company, effective March 2, 2011, transitioning from his executive responsibilities as Vice Chairman.
As Vice Chairman of the Company, Mr. Stone focused on maintaining and growing the Company’s strategic relationships as well as sourcing new business opportunities. Mr. Stone joined Cousins in 1999 when the Company acquired Faison-Stone, and later served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company from 2001-2002.
Larry Gellerstedt, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cousins, noted, “We thank Dary for his many contributions to Cousins and look forward to his continued leadership in developing strategic relationships and new business opportunities as a member of the Board of Directors.”
