(b) On February 8, 2011, Wells Fargo & Company (“Wells Fargo”) issued a news release (the “News Release”) announcing that Howard I. Atkins, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Wells Fargo, and Chief Financial Officer of Wachovia Preferred Funding Corp. (“WPFC”), will resign as Chief Financial Officer from Wells Fargo and affiliated entities, including WPFC, effective as of February 8, 2011.
A copy of the News Release is attached hereto as Exhibit (99) and incorporated into this Item 5.02 by reference.
